Yes, I think the faceless images offer something that the more traditional portraits do not. It almost becomes a space where I can insert my particular image of the character, or myself even. Think on that. I am happy you are taking on the book design idea. Make sure you speak with Krassen soon though...
After graduating from high school, I attended the American University in Dubai to study Visual Communication. I am Joumana Achkar, I am 25 years old and this is my last year in AUD. Being in love with all kinds of Arts, since my childhood, was behind the reason for me wanting VC. After enjoying 5 years in university, I can say that I have done some pretty amazing work and I am humbly proud of myself. I am fascinated with nice and pretty things, which appeal to the eye. I am also in love with vibrant colors, petty much a beautiful world. That is why most of my work is simply beautiful and, not to mention, creative. While succeeding in all of my art classes, I thrived greatly in design classes. I may confidently say that I am a painter and a designer. Hopefully in the future I want to open my own Art and design gallery, where I can display most of my work that I am really fund of.
